Dawn L. Walker serves as a Financial Reporting Manager for Hart Vida & Partners. Dawn has over 25 years of experience in public and private accounting, specializing in financial statement preparation, audit, and review work.  

Dawn has worked in a wide array of industries, handling a wide range of clients from various financial backgrounds. She provided comprehensive bookkeeping and financial management support to a diverse clientele, including a $250 million construction contractor, oil and gas replacement part manufacturer, wholesaler, restaurant, church, and numerous small businesses.  

When providing controllership services for an oil and gas replacement part manufacturer, Dawn singe-handedly created an accounting department that standardized financial reporting and strengthened compliance protocols.

Dawn began her career in public accounting in Houston, Texas, learning how to manage bookkeeping, payroll, forensic accounting, and auditing. After moving to New York, she primarily focusing on auditing, ensuring clients’ financial records are accurate, complete, and presented fairly.  

Dawn graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in English Literature and Biology.
