Management Consulting

We provide guidance and hands on support in developing business plans, growing revenue, making organizational changes, and achieving operational excellence.

Our philosophy centers on cash flow as the most critical financial metric for growth oriented businesses. We developed FlowFirst®, which is a structured management approach that links sales, operations, and accounting and finance processes to cash flow.

Typical consulting engagements include restructuring or change management projects, acquisition integration, and interim leadership during executive search.


It’s All About Cash – FlowFirst®

Hart Vida & Partners considers cash flow to be fundamental to business growth. Accordingly, we employ our FlowFirst® management model to reduce the time it takes to convert a client company’s sales opportunities to cash. This involves analyzing the three business flows that are critical to cash generation:

  • Sales Flow – opportunity to contract
  • Operational Flow – contract to delivery
  • Financial Flow –delivery to cash

As we evaluate a client’s Sales, Operational and Financial Flows, we may identify ways in which organizational restructuring or process reengineering could improve cash flow. Our management consulting builds on those findings in order to assist with change management initiatives and to develop growth-oriented business plans.


Transaction Advisory

We draw upon our decades of financial operating experience and leverage our expansive network of subject matter experts to assist clients to prepare companies for sale, recapitalization or fund raising.

We work with clients to develop transaction strategies – both buy side and sell side – and then assist in executing those transactions by providing expert support from covering structure, due diligence and post transaction integration.

We work with business owners to develop short, medium and long term exit strategies including selling to a strategic buyer, bringing in private equity recapitulation, or extracting cash through a leveraged buyout or ESOP. Our goal is to help business owners maximize valuation and achieve their financial objectives.
