Alexander J. Hart is a principal and founder of Hart Vida & Partners. With over 35 years of experience, Alex specializes in the areas of tax strategy and planning, business process improvement, and CFO advisory. Prior to founding Hart Vida & Partners, he was a Controller for the N.Y. Post, and had been a CFO for the medical device company Vertebron. Alex began his career at IBM in sales operations and accounting. He is the treasurer, and an executive committee member of A.L.T.A. (Affiliated Lawyers of the Americas). He is also a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers, and is a contributing author and mentor at Latin Business Today.
Alex heads the firm’s transaction advisory section. He specializes in tax strategy, planning, consulting, and advisory. Alex developed the firm’s hallmark FlowFirst® management model which helps clients achieve greater cash flow and liquidity through comprehensive sales, operational and financial controls.
Recent engagements have included tax strategy and preparation relating to the sale of a privately held company to a public company, acting CFO for an international company opening up a division in the United States and tax advisory and structuring relating to client acquisition of commercial real estate.
Alex graduated from St. John’s University with a B.A. in Spanish and his M.B.A. in Finance, and he obtained his accounting degree from Pace University.
